Hardcore combat overhaul for Stellar Blade: disables shields, locks parry/dodge timing, and optionally removes Blink/Repulse. Multiple difficulty-enhancing versions available.
Hardcore Mode transforms Stellar Blade into a high-stakes experience by disabling defensive crutches and tightening skill windows. Designed for those seeking a purer, more punishing form of combat mastery.
What It Does:
- Disables Player Shield completely across all suits
- Locks Perfect Parry & Perfect Dodge windows to base 0.15s (9 frames)
- EX Version also disables Blink and Repulse skills
- Removes unlock costs from “Focus Boost” and “Reflex Boost” to prevent skill tree blockages
- Lite Version: Only disables the shield (fully compatible with other gameplay mods)
Optional Effects (EX Version):
- Blink and Repulse no longer function
- Unlock cost for Blink is removed (required by game progression but doesn’t work)
Balance Notes:
- Shield-enhancing items (e.g., Protection Exospine) may display stats, but do not provide functional defense
- Encourages true precision in combat – no safety net
Installation Instructions:
- Download your preferred version
- Navigate to
StellarBlade\SB\Content\Paks - Create a folder named
~modsif it doesn’t already exist - Extract files into the
~modsfolder - Launch the game
Uninstallation:
Delete the mod’s 3 files from the ~mods folder.
Compatibility:
- Incompatible with other mods that modify:
AcquisitionSkillTableCharacterTableSkillTableSkillCommandTable(EX version only)
- Compatible: With most other mods if using the Lite version
