1. Stamina system
– Reimplemented Beta Gauge into stamina. Used in attacks and movement.
– Stamina affects movement speed in 3 stages; normal, low, and depleted stamina.
– Attacks by stronger enemies like bosses cause accumulative stun damage that is reflected in the stamina bar. Recovers over time.

2. Semi-dynamic stat effects based on damage and available stamina
– Health and stamina condition affect total Beta Gauge, movement speed, sprinting ability, and vision. Currently 4 stages.

3. Removed instant death/instant kill traps.
– Most instant kill traps removed and do damage instead (e.g. grinder, laser).
– Instant death from higher falls removed (still preliminary and experimental, but works).
– Fire damage reduced significantly.

4. Reworked range weapons
– Energy weapons use Burst gauge, projectile weapons use ammunition.
– Shotgun fires a long range energy bolt.
– Blaster fires shorter pulses. Stage 3 overcharge damages Eve to significantly increase damage and knocks down weaker enemies.
– Slug cannon projectile range increased, decreased shield damage.
– Stinger ammo significantly decreased, damage greatly increased, knock down/back ability on weaker enemies.
– Explosive ammo is 2 with very high damage. Can knock down or stun bosses.

5. Reworked attack combos and skills
– All Eve’s sword attacks and kicks now do additional effects such as stamina damage, stun, and knock down.
– Tempest Strike swapped with back move counter kick for more variety (knocks down strongest enemies with low shield).
– Charged attacks all have stronger knock down and piercing (damage enemies with shields or guards).
– Simplified Shield Breaker animation (less floaty).
– Basic combo attack sequence changes; Initial strong attack swapped with turning hook kick (need unlock, but haven’t tried it yet in New Game).
– Fourth stage 속공 EX attack now uses Burst Gauge and knocks down medium enemies.
– Link attacks (Eve and enemies) now do damage for each strike or wrestling move corresponding to the animation.
– QTE challenges and getting wrestled drain Beta Gauge. Implemented for most enemies, but still incomplete.
– Overdrive regenerates stamina while draining HP.
– too many to list and remember…

6. Reworked Parry and Dodge
– Removed standard parry and blocking for boss enemies except for fast, multi-strike weak combos.
– Can parry almost all attacks from all enemies.
– Invincibility removed from dodge. This makes dodges useful for evading powerful single attacks but not combo attacks.
– Dodge drains Beta Gauge.
– Successful parries drain Beta Gauge.
– Guarding drains Beta Gauge when held up.

7. Reworked AI
– Most enemies wait time reduced to 1/10 except for Raven and bosses that use significant stamina in combos, backing off to rest/recharge stamina.
– Enemy instant kill moves/skills removed.
– Normal AI detection range significantly increased and now swarm often, making them potentially dangerous.
– Some bosses reworked to be more challenging, but all instant death skills removed.
– Some normal enemies reworked into mini bosses.
– Some bosses now parry more or break guard to add challenge fairly and make fights more exciting.

8. Gear & Items rebalancing
– Gear strength generally reduced across the board to make baseline stats more relevant.
– Tumbler potion restores Beta Gauge and some HP.
– Heal grenade restores Burst Gauge.
– Small and large healing items heal HP over time. Healing amount significantly reduced.

9. Dead bodies don’t de-spawn

– Dead enemies take much longer to de-spawn from the game world.

Not all changes listed here (cannot remember ^^) Have fun with it!

* If reloading a game with low HP the Beta Gauge UI does not display properly (cut-off). Fix by healing to full HP, saving the game, and reloading.
** Also, after receiving the drone for the first time, object interaction is bugged. Just reload the save game to fix.

This gameplay mod that changes multiple mechanics in an attempt to makes Eve much stronger relatively while retaining some challenge. It aims to make game feel epic and fair, not more difficult.

Tested with NG+ but now playable with New Game. Recommend playing on Hard mode for a fair challenge (Enemies ~+50% stats)

*Use the heal grenade to recharge Burst Gauge.

– More testing and rebalancing/fixing
